By default, the YouTube app on your Android device sends you notifications alerting you of new videos. If you find this annoying and want to deactivate these notifications, you can do so simply by following a few steps.

Disable New YouTube Video Notifications in Android

Open the Youtube app, and tap Menu > Settings:

Go to the General section, and uncheck New video notifications:

You should no longer receive notifications when a new video is posted.
