Since the beginning of Chapter 7 Season 1, Fortnite’s collaboration list has been on the rise, with Epic Games launching more than 30 collaborations since the start of this new chapter. They also suggested they would create a huge push for Gaming Association collaborations and 100 more gaming legend skins each year.
Players are starting to look forward to the newly announced Fortnite Honkai Star Rail collaboration; however, Epic has gone above and beyond by presenting their new cross-promotion program that will serve as the glue between the Epic Games Store and the Fortnite Ecosystem.

Epic Games Confirms New Gaming Partners for Fortnite Collabs

Players who buy third-party titles via the Epic Games Store to get access to exclusive Fortnite cosmetics like new gaming legend skins for free beginning in the first half of 2026. Epic Games will use the power of Fortnite to promote the sale of Third Party titles through the Epic Store as part of this new program.
Epic has secured numerous major developers as part of this new cross-promotion program. While we don’t know what specific skins and cosmetics will be included with the vast majority of the crossovers listed below, here’s who will be part of this new cross-promotion program:
Capcom

Capcom is without a doubt the biggest name among this new cohort of Epic Games Store developer partners. Capcom creates video games for many popular franchises, including Resident Evil and Devil May Cry. Capcom’s involvement in this partnership will be connected to the upcoming release of Resident Evil: Requiem, which will include skins for Grace Ashcroft (the game’s leading lady) and for Leon S. Kennedy (the hero of the Resident Evil franchise).
miHoYo (HoYoverse)

In Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail, miHoYo has a history of creating popular gacha games. The first phase of this collaboration will be included in version 39.40 of Fortnite (expected to launch in March 2022). At that time, players will be able to obtain two characters from Honkai Star Rail – Kafka and Blade – as newcomers to the Fortnite Island.

Pearl Abyss
Pearl Abyss is developing an open-world RPG called Crimson Desert, which is on the verge of being released. This collaboration began when players were able to get a free Crimson Desert skin in Fortnite if they pre-ordered it on the Epic Games Store. Once Crimson Desert is released, players can also expect the Kliff skin from the Crimson Desert promotion to appear in the Fortnite Item Shop.
S-Game

S-Game is developing an action game called Phantom Blade Zero. This gaming collaboration will feature reactive skins for Fortnite that will be inspired by the visual style of the game Phantom Blade Zero.

MintRocket
Mint-rocket is an interesting addition to the current roster of studios. As the studio behind the unexpected indie hit of the year “Dave The Diver,” they fall into the unique category amongst all others. For the first season of Chapter 7 of Fortnite, there has been heavy use of animated skins, specifically with many collaborations with pop culture references such as the South Park skins for Fortnite; therefore, I am looking forward to seeing what will happen with Mintrockets artistic style transferred to Fortnite.
KakaoGames

Kakaogames is a very well-known publisher/world builder. Their collaboration with Fortnite is expected to be focused around the integration of action-role-playing games published by them into Fortnite through a gritty fantasy comic book style of design. With that being said, it is also likely that all players who have purchased expansions or currency to the game “path of exile” for the Epic Games Store will be rewarded with Fortnite currency through the in-game store.
With so many new partners, one can expect Epic Games to continue collaborating with various partners, while expanding its diversity of Fortnite crossovers, over the next year. Are you excited for the upcoming influx of new skins based on the great gaming legends I have mentioned? Please share your thoughts with us in the comments box below!
Conclusion

Epic introduced two new globally popular franchises — South Park (arriving January 9th) and Resident Evil (March) with exciting new skins, new game modes like Quints and other longer-term projects based on Unity that will give you access to endless creator-built content.
