Lava announced an cheap smartphone in India called Lava A82 for a price of Rs 5,299. The device will be exclusively obtainable via Tata’s CLiQ online store. The smartphone is available in blue, white and gold color variants.
In terms of specifications, the smartphone features a 5-inch TFT FWVGA display with a 480 x 854 pixels resolution and a pixel density of 196ppi. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB RAM. It comprises an internal storage of 8GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
Consecutively Android 5.1 Lollipop, the device comes armed with a 5MP rear camera along with a 2MP front facing camera. The smartphone also sports ‘smart-screen gestures’ feature through which users will be able to use shortcuts to access frequently used apps like browser, camera, emails and many more.Connectivity features include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and microUSB.
