ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 media information

The ICC has released detailed media and training schedules for teams competing at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 on 7–8 February across India and Sri Lanka. Matches in Colombo, Kolkata and Mumbai on Saturday will feature post-match press conferences about 15 minutes after stumps, with losing captains and coaches generally addressing reporters before the winners. Sunday’s build-up includes training and media sessions for New Zealand and Afghanistan in Chennai, while Sri Lanka and Ireland will train and speak to media in Colombo; England and Nepal have no scheduled media on Saturday ahead of their Mumbai fixture.

The advisory also clarifies access rules for non-rights-holding broadcasters and photographers, restricting filming on match days and limiting use of video to editorial news platforms rather than social media. The guidelines aim to streamline coverage, protect broadcast rights and ensure orderly operations for global media at the tournament.
