Computer users are often faced with the ordeal of changing the pre-set language of their operating system from English to the language of their choice. However, with some basic formatting knowledge, customizing the language of your Operating System is simple.
This do-it-yourself procedure works specifically for computers running Windows Vista, but it can be applied to most updated versions of Windows.
How To Modify the Operating System Language
Go to Control Panel > Windows Update, and download the language pack under Optional windows update.
After the download is complete, return to Control Panel. Go to Regional and Languages Settings > Keyboard and Languages, then choose your display language.
