The CBSE admit card 2026 for Class 10th and 12th board exams will be available soon on the official website cbse.gov.in, with the PDF download link expected to activate in the first week of February 2026, just before exams start on February 17. Regular students should collect theirs from schools, while private candidates can download directly from cbseit.in/cbse/web/pvtform/ once live—beware of fake links circulating now. This guide gives you step-by-step instructions, exam updates, and tips to prepare without stress.
CBSE Exam Dates 2026
Class 10 exams run from February 17 to March 10, 2026, in a single shift from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, following a recent revision due to administrative reasons. Major subjects like Mathematics Standard (Feb 17), Science (Feb 25), and Social Science (March 7) are confirmed in the official timetable. Class 12 dates extend to April, but admit cards cover all theory papers starting mid-February.

Regular vs Private Candidates
Regular students get admit cards from schools, which handle bulk downloads—no direct student access needed. Private candidates (including improvement, compartment, failures) use cbseit.in self-service, selecting categories like “Main” for fresh exams. Females/PwD from Delhi have special quotas for non-practical subjects.

Exam Day Rules and Tips
Arrive 30 minutes early; no mobiles, calculators, or bags inside. Paste your photo if missing and get invigilator sign—no changes allowed post-exam. Pro tip: Laminate the card for durability, and note center map in advance using Google Maps—traffic hits Madurai routes hard during peak hours.

Don’t trust unofficial “download now” links—YouTube videos hype fake releases, leading to phishing. Forgot application number? Check SMS/email from registration or school records. Technical glitches? Clear cache or try incognito mode; CBSE servers overload near deadlines.
What If There’s a Problem?
Report errors to school/CBSE within 24 hours of receipt—email or helpline. Lost card? Schools reprint; privates re-login. For Delhi region issues, visit cbse.gov.in regional office contacts.
