Google Plus is Google’s social network, and it exists in both desktop and app versions. In the app for Android, you have the option to receive notifications each time an important activity occurs on your account, such as if you receive a comment on one of your posts or if you have a new friend request.
If you find these alerts to be bothersome, you can easily disable notificationsin the app.
Disable Notifications on Google Plus for Android
Open the Google+ app, and tap Menu (3 horizontal dots) > Settings.
Scroll to Account settings, and select your account:
Tap Notifications:
Toggle the Notifications switch to OFF:
You should now be free of the notifications that you were receiving before.
