Ducati SuperSport and SuperSport S Now launched in India

NEW DELHI: Ducati India on Friday launched the SuperSport model along with its S variant in India, priced at Rs 12.08 lakh and Rs 13.39 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively.

The Italian bikemaker claims that it is an all-rounder motorcycle that is agile on urban roads, comfortable on highways and confident in tight corners.

Powering the Ducati SuperSport is a twin-cylinder, 937cc engine, delivering 110PS at 9,000rpm and a peak torque of 93Nm at 6,500rpm. The bike features a full-faired styling that is inspired by the company’s Panigale series and a very sleek tail section.

The electronics package on the SuperSport includes three riding modes, Ride-by-Wire, ABS and DTC. The bike also receives Bosch 9MP ABS and Ducati Traction Control.

In addition to the standard features, the SuperSport S version comes with a fully adjustable Ohlins suspension, Ducati Quick Shift up/down system and a rear seat cowl.

The Ducati’s new offering in the country challenges the likes of the Kawasaki Ninja 1000 and the Suzuki GSX-S1000F
